Privacy Policy

Last updated September 3, 2026

This Privacy Notice describes how and why we access, collect, store, use, and/or share your personal information when you use Stryda.

This Privacy Notice for Travis Rhoades (doing business as R&R Tech and Stryda) ("we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we might process your personal information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you download and use the Stryda mobile application, subscribe to a Stryda plan, or otherwise engage with us.

Questions or concerns? If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you have any questions, contact us at support@stryda.tech or via our contact form.

1. What information do we collect?

Personal information you disclose to us

In short: we collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you create an account, use the Services, or otherwise contact us. This may include:

Sensitive information. We do not process sensitive information.

Payment data. If you subscribe, all payment data is handled and stored by Apple — we never receive or store your card details. See Apple's privacy notice: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Social media login data. See Section 4, "How do we handle your social logins?"

Application data. If you use our application, we may collect the following if you grant permission:

Google API

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Information automatically collected

In short: our infrastructure provider logs standard connection information as part of normal operation. We do not collect your precise location, device model, or browsing behavior.

Information collected from other sources

In short: we collect limited information from one outside source — when you sign in using Apple or Google.

If you register or sign in using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, we receive certain profile information from that provider — typically your name and email address. We do not obtain information about you from public databases, data brokers, marketing partners, or social media platforms, and we do not use any information for targeted advertising.

2. How do we process your information?

In short: we process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law.

3. When and with whom do we share your personal information?

In short: we share information with the specific third-party service providers listed below, and in specific business-transfer situations.

We have contracts in place with each of these providers designed to safeguard your personal information — they cannot use it for any purpose except performing the service they provide us, and cannot share it with any other organization.

Business transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with a merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or part of our business.

4. How do we handle your social logins?

In short: if you register or log in using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, we have access to certain information about you from that provider.

Where you choose to sign in this way, we receive certain profile information — typically your name and email address. We do not receive a friends list, social media posts, or other public social profile data, since Apple and Google Sign-In are authentication services, not general social media integrations.

We use this information only for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice. We do not control, and are not responsible for, Apple's or Google's own use of your information — review their privacy notices to understand how they handle it.

5. How long do we keep your information?

In short: we keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this notice, unless a longer period is required by law.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we delete or anonymize it. If immediate deletion isn't possible (e.g. backup archives), we securely isolate the data from further processing until deletion is possible.

6. How do we keep your information safe?

In short: we aim to protect your personal information through organizational and technical security measures.

We've implemented reasonable technical and organizational security measures, including access-control rules restricting who can read or write a given horse's records, and encryption in transit and at rest provided by our infrastructure. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure — transmission of information to and from our Services is at your own risk.

7. Do we collect information from minors?

In short: we do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 13 years of age.

By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 13, or that you are the parent/guardian of a minor and consent to their supervised use of the Services. If we learn personal information from a user under 13 has been collected, we will deactivate the account and delete such data. Contact us at support@stryda.tech if you become aware of any such data.

8. What are your privacy rights?

In short: you may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.

Withdrawing your consent. Where we rely on your consent to process personal information, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us — see Section 14. This won't affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

9. Controls for Do-Not-Track features

No uniform technology standard for recognizing Do-Not-Track ("DNT") signals currently exists, so we do not respond to DNT browser signals at this time. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we'll update this notice.

10. Do United States residents have specific privacy rights?

In short: if you're a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have the right to access, correct, obtain a copy of, or delete your personal information.

Your rights

Subject to limitations under applicable law: right to know, right to access, right to correct, right to request deletion, right to obtain a copy, right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights, and right to opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or profiling.

How to exercise your rights

Contact us via our contact form or by emailing support@stryda.tech. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to proof of authorization. If we decline to act on a request, you may appeal by emailing us — if denied, you may complain to your state attorney general.

California "Shine the Light" law

California residents may request, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information we've disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes — see Section 14 to submit a request.

11. How access to horse records works

Every account is independent — creating an account does not give you access to anyone else's data by default. Access to a specific horse's records is granted explicitly, through one of a few mechanisms: home-account membership (your own barn's staff), per-horse sharing with a trainer/vet/farrier via an invite code, bulk access granted to a subcontracted business, or an owner-invite that transfers permanent ownership of a horse's profile. Whoever granted an access relationship can revoke it at any time, which removes that account's visibility into the affected records going forward.

12. Account deletion

If your account doesn't permanently own any horses and has no other staff members attached to it, deleting it is immediate. If your account owns horses or has active staff, you'll be asked to transfer or resolve those first — this prevents another account's active records from being orphaned by your account's deletion.

13. Do we make updates to this notice?

We may update this notice from time to time — the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by prominently posting a notice or sending a direct notification.
